Know if you’re safe to file, before your CA even looks.
If purchases run at 40% of turnover, input tax credit is one of your largest working-capital accounts, and nobody’s job description contains looking after it. No tax expertise required.
Run your own GST health, the way a firm would run it for you.
Your accountant’s job is to file. Your CA’s job is the annual. The monthly question (did we get every rupee of credit we paid for, and can we show our working?) falls between them.
Most businesses this size find out two or three years later, in a letter. By then the supplier has vanished and whoever reconciled that month has left. Under Section 155 the burden of proving otherwise sits with you.
Only the first was something anyone was watching.
Six ways credit walks out, all of them quiet.
It knows your trade, so it doesn’t cry wolf.
What looks like a problem in one business is everyday stock in another. Fylers reads your books the way your trade actually works.
Jewellery & bullion
Process loss on every lot is normal in your trade. Fylers won’t mistake it for lost goods.
Foundries & castings
Scrap bought from small dealers often needs tax paid by you. Fylers spots those bills before they become a demand.
Auto parts dealers
Vehicles and parts are your stock, not your expenses. Your credit on them is treated that way.
Engineering & machining
Material sent out for job work stays tracked, so the credit on it doesn’t quietly go missing.
Paper, plywood & timber
A sector the department watches closely. Fylers flags risky suppliers before their problem becomes yours.
Building materials
Cement, steel and tiles are your stock. Fylers won’t block credit on them just because of what they are.
Don’t see your trade? If you buy a lot of what you sell or make, Fylers works for you just the same.
Built for an owner, not a tax desk.
Every GSTIN, one account
One summary across every registration. Any that can’t be shown this month says why, instead of quietly dropping out of the total.
Plain-language issues
A rupee amount and one sentence on what’s wrong. Your accountant gets the same issue in the precise form they need. One engine, worded twice.
Nudge the suppliers who cost you
Draft messages, only for the suppliers actually holding up your credit. No pointless internal paperwork.
Skip a claim, on the record
Wrong GSTIN, goods never arrived, under dispute? Fylers records the decision with your reason, in your ITC computation and defence pack.
Notice-defence pack
The same pack CA firms rely on, ready for you directly. Built for the day a notice actually arrives.
Add a professional anytime
Your in-house accountant, your CA, or a firm already on Fylers, with access you control. You’re just never stuck without one.
The decision you chose not to take is part of the record too.
The reasonable questions.
“My CA already does this.”
Possibly. Ask them which invoices didn’t appear in last month’s 2B, what the rupee total was, and where that working is filed. The good ones will have an answer and will want this; most reconcile at year end because that’s when there’s time.
“We use Tally, isn’t it in there?”
Tally holds your books. It does not hold GSTR-2B, it does not run the 180-day clock, and it does not know a supplier amended an invoice three months after you booked it. Fylers reads your Tally export and puts the portal beside it.
“Will you have our portal login?”
No. There is no GSTN integration and no credential field anywhere in the product. You download your own returns as you already do; Fylers reads the files.
“How much reformatting?”
None. Column names are detected on your existing export. If a file has a problem, you’re told what’s wrong with it before anything is reconciled.
Be notice-ready on your own terms.
Send one reporting period: purchase register and 2B. If there’s nothing in it, that’s a useful answer too, and it costs you an email.
